What’s in for 2015?
From Surfing to Body Weight Training, the summer is shaping up to be a fun rollercoaster of active pursuits. While working with a trainer will still show the best results, in-between workouts are essential to being fit.

Body Weight Training tops the list this year as the hottest fitness trends of 2015. Old school lunges, pushups, mountain climbers (who doesn’t love mountain climbers?), burpees, and the list goes on.

Try this workout to change up your routine.

  • 25 Mountain Climbers
  • 25 Bicycles
  • Burpee Pyramid
  • 25 Pushups

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is the runner up for 2015. Check out these fat burning intervals from Men’s Fitness Magazine (http://www.mensfitness.com/training/cardio/8-amazing-fat-burning-intervals). HIIT consists of short alternating sets of intense exercise.

There are the usual onslaught of trends that will keep you knee deep in fads if that is your thing, like stationary surfing, designed to work out your core while doing fitness routines. Our recommendation is to stick to the basics.
